Newtown Energy offers recruitment services to the oil & gas, nuclear power & alternative energy source industries.
The person responsible for the start and development of this division is;
Maciej Siembiga.
Maciej came to the UK in 2005 to work for Newtown Services then moved to a small oil and gas agency only to come back to Newtown in May 2007.
Previously Maciej worked in Poland as in-house Recruiter and Key Account Manager for major IT and Financial companies.
Newtown quickly took on a number of upstream oil & gas clients from various geographical locations. Within the first weeks we had our first interviews and placements; Oil Tools Systems Engineer (UK), HSE Manager (UK), Assistant Driller (Singapore), Construction Superintendent (Batam Island).
We supply candidates for direct employment by our clients.
So far we have worked on projects for drilling contractors, engineering consultancies, construction and service companies and have placed our candidates in South America, Europe, North and West Africa and SE Asia.
In the future we would like to continue working with our existing clients but also get involved in new areas of the energy sector.
