We supplied specialist Slipform Squads working on the building of all Slipform rigs and sliding them to the required height. In addition we worked on the sub-frame structure building columns walls and decks.

 

Swiss Re Bulding

Swiss Re Building, City of London

We supplied Steelfixers, Carpenters and Concrete Labourers in the construction of the sub-structure and base slab for this iconic building. The concrete pour still holds records for the most concrete placed in a single non-stop, 1-day pour and Newtown Operatives were drafted in from 4 other Projects in London at that time to ensure it was achieved as planned.

 

Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf, East London

We have supplied specialist Slipform Squads on many of the tall buildings on the Estate, including continual 24 hour sliding of the UK’s largest single core on the Barclays Building.

 

Westfield London

Westfield London

We supplied Slipform and Formwork Squads on Europe’s largest City Centre Shopping Mall at White City in London.

Olympic Village

Olympic Village, Stratford, London (current)

We are currently supplying Slipform and Formwork Squads on the building 2&3 phase of the Olympic Village. A total of 14 internal cores will be encapsulated by traditional concrete frame comprising of in-situ walls, columns and decks.
